The movie is an inspiring coming-of-age drama that centers on Nisal Bandara, a determined young man from a rural village trying to break free from poverty and structural limitations through education.
Because his rural school doesn't offer Advanced Level classes, a dedicated teacher named Janaka Sir volunteers to conduct after-school lessons for him. Despite facing heavy social hurdles, jealousy from the villagers, and personal obstacles that force him to move to Colombo for a second attempt, Nisal’s resilience shines through. The title serves as a beautiful metaphor: approaching life’s grandest ambitions with the logical precision and unwavering focus used to solve mathematical equations.
